Volleyball Recap: Adelanto Takes a Loss

Adelanto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tahquitz Titans.

Leading Tahquitz to victory were Marley Tuliau and Jaden Gonzalez. Tuliau had 11 kills, four digs, two aces, and one block, while Gonzalez had 26 assists. That's the most kills Tuliau has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Reyna Garcia, who had six kills and four digs.

Adelanto's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tahquitz, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Adelanto will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jurupa Hills at 5:30 p.m. As for Tahquitz, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Rancho Verde on the 9th.
