Volleyball Recap: Floyd Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Albany on Tuesday, Floyd Central came back down to earth. The Highlanders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Creek Dragons on Thursday. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dragons earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Floyd Central now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Silver Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Floyd Central is set to take on their familiar foe Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Silver Creek will challenge rival New Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
