Baseball Game Preview: Argenta-Oreana Bombers vs. Tri-City Tornadoes

The Argenta-Oreana Bombers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Tri-City Tornadoes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Argenta-Oreana is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Central A & M. Argenta-Oreana sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over Central A & M on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Argenta-Oreana saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Finch, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Tri-City can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lanphier with a sharp 16-8 win.

Argenta-Oreana took their victory against Tri-City when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-2. Does Argenta-Oreana have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tri-City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
