Basketball Game Preview: Emmanuel Christian Crusaders vs. Northside Christian School Eagles

The Emmanuel Christian Crusaders will head out to face off against the Northside Christian School Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Emmanuel Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 40-12 victory over Sumter Christian. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Emmanuel Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ciara Dibble out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals. Dibble is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addyson Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 steals.

Meanwhile, Northside Christian School had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 39-19 margin over Emmanuel Christian last Tuesday. The Eagles pushed the score to 38-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders cut but never quite recovered from.

Emmanuel Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Northside Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
