O'Dea was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Issaquah. The Fighting Irish came in at 15 in the state poll after placing at number 38 last week.
Eastside Catholic and Lake City played the most contested game in 3A Metro - Mountain this week, with Eastside Catholic eventually emerging with a 34-30 victory. Henry Jarvis ran for 246 yards and caught 5 passes for 32 yards in the win.
Eastside Catholic's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Harley Kirsch has thrown for 607 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Devon Arbis-Jackson has 18 catches for 300 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when O'Dea takes on Seattle Prep. Monte Kohler's team is in first place, while the Panthers are in fourth place.
Bishop Blanchet made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,040 from 3,217. The advance stemmed from a 58-13 victory over Lakeside last week.
