Volleyball Recap: Celina Bobcats vs. Henderson Lions
Celina extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Henderson. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Henderson Lions. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on three straight.
Celina got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Paitlynn Martin out in front who had 18 digs. Martin has been hot , having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Britton Huff, who had four digs and 14 assists.
Celina has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-14 record this season. As for Henderson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 28-11 record.
Celina will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Caddo Mills. Caddo Mills will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Celina surely won't give up without a fight. Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
