Softball Recap: Bexley Has No Trouble Against Whitehall-Yearling

Bexley won against Tree of Life Christian on Friday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Whitehall-Yearling Rams. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Helena Sidel was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elle Cochran, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Bexley's record is now 8-14. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Bexley nor Whitehall-Yearling have any future games scheduled.
