Pee Dee Academy has gone 7-1 against Carolina Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Carolina Academy Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Pee Dee Academy's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Carolina Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Pee Dee Academy took their matchup with ease, bagging a 41-14 win over Williamsburg Academy. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Rebecca Hammond was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carolina Academy). They walked away with a 45-38 victory over Lee Academy on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Pee Dee Academy's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.8 points per game. As for Carolina Academy, their record is now 5-7.

Everything came up roses for Pee Dee Academy against Carolina Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pee Dee Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
