Volleyball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Durant Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.

Leading Durant to victory were Isabella Bowen and Alani Bailey. Bowen had 15 assists and seven aces, while Bailey had three aces. Those three aces gave Bailey a new career-high.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Durant, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Morgan will square off against Tampa Bay Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Durant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
