After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whiteford, Montpelier was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-18 victory over the Ottawa Hills Green Bears. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Locomotives considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Montpelier had a senior duo take command as Hayden Sharps rushed for 69 yards and two scores and Griffin Cooley gained 128 total yards and a touchdown.

Montpelier's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-3. As for Ottawa Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
