Volleyball Recap: Madison County's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

It was a good run, but Madison County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hart County Bulldogs. The Red Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Madison County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lillian Conley had nine digs and three aces. Conley is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emma Pratz also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Madison County and Hart County will both be playing Elbert County the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
