Basketball Recap: DasCHE Takes a Loss

DasCHE was the 75-53 winner over Fort Worth THESA when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The DasCHE Spartans took a hard 89-74 fall against the Fort Worth THESA Riders on Friday. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, DasCHE still got an impressive performance from Jadon Comeaux, who posted 21 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. What's more, Comeaux also racked up five blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Liam O'Grady, who had 16 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Fort Worth THESA's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Ragsdale led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine assists. Ragsdale is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Timmy Frank, who went 6 of 13 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

DasCHE's record now sits at 13-11. As for Fort Worth THESA, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-11 record.

DasCHE has already played their next contest, a 70-26 victory against Midessa on the 24th. As for Fort Worth THESA, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-58 loss against Oklahoma F on the 24th.
