Calvary Baptist Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Pineville Rebels. That's two games straight that the Cavaliers have won by just one run.

Kynzee Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carlie Guile, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brynn Robinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Calvary Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 27-0 with the victory, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pineville, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-3.
