Volleyball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson was the 2-1 winner over Libertyville when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Stevenson couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Libertyville a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 32-34, 25-15, 25-16.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Libertyville, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Stevenson will be taking part in a tournament against Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Libertyville, they will face off against New Trier at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Trevians will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
