Basketball Recap: Isaac Weatherred's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Patrick Henry over Steele Canyon + How To Watch

Patrick Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Steele Canyon Cougars. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Patrick Henry's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Weatherred, who posted 13 points and eight boards. Roman Campisi was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Steele Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Patrick Henry won't have much time to rest: their next game is against University City at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Steele Canyon, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Escondido Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
