Soccer Recap: Jennings Comes Up Short

Jennings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hazelwood West Wildcats, falling 10-2. While losing is never fun, Jennings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Hazelwood West are ranked 97th).

Jennings' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hazelwood West, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Jennings will be playing at home against Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hazelwood West, they will head out to take on McCluer at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
