Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Zephyrhills Bulldogs, falling 6-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in December of 2024.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Zephyrhills, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-15 record.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zephyrhills, they will take on Nature Coast Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nature Coast Tech's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
