Football Recap: Middleton Tigers vs. Hillsborough Terriers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Middleton can now relate to. They took a blow against the Hillsborough Terriers on Monday, falling 34-0. The loss leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.
Hillsborough got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nydia Sepulveda out in front who threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. What's more, Sepulveda racked up 117.8 passer rating, the most she's had since back in February. Hillsborough also got help from Makyla Hickman, who showed off her sure hands for 83 receiving yards.
Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hillsborough, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.
Middleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsborough, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 25-13 victory against Chamberlain on the 15th.
