Kanab barely beat Parowan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cowboys blew past the Rams 7-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.

Walker Baird spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kash Kabonic, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Hayden Gubler was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Kanab always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Kanab's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Parowan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Kanab will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
