Baseball Recap: Poca Takes a Loss

Poca managed to slip by Braxton County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Poca lost 13-3 to Braxton County on Tuesday. The Dots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Poca saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Bonnett, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Landon Rawlings also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Poca's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Braxton County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poca will square off against South Charleston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Braxton County, they will take on Clay County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
