Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mid-Carolina). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Columbia Capitals 72-36. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mid-Carolina's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Columbia, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Mid-Carolina will have a chance to go back-to-back against Columbia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
