Volleyball Recap: Eleva-Strum Cardinals vs. Whitehall Norse

Eleva-Strum had taken Whitehall down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Norse by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Norse earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Eleva-Strum sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 14-25, 25-23, 15-25, 15-11.

Defeat or not, Eleva-Strum got some senior leadership from Ruby Bartholomew and Gabby Franck. Bartholomew had 15 digs and four aces, while Franck had 19 digs and two aces.
