Basketball Recap: Taholah Comes Up Short

Taholah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks on the road by a 68-51 margin. While losing is never fun, the Chitwhins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Kodiaks are ranked 129th).

Despite the loss, Taholah still got an impressive performance from Jayden Lewis, who posted 20 points. Dominique Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Taholah's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Taholah has already played their next game, a 50-34 victory against Pe Ell on the 17th. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-42 defeat against Ocosta on the 17th.
