Softball Recap: North Lincoln Wins Going Away Against Tallwood

North Lincoln got themselves on the board against Tallwood on Wednesday, but Tallwood never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 8-0 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Grace Parker was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddie James, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

North Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Tallwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

North Lincoln will square off against Statesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tallwood, they will take on Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
