Basketball Game Preview: Braden River Pirates vs. Northeast Vikings + How To Watch

The Braden River Pirates will be taking part in a tournament against the Northeast Vikings at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Braden River will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Braden River was able to grind out a solid win over Booker, taking the game 61-48. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pirates' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 279th).

Northeast not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 27, 2024 (when they won 84-20). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bayshore Christian 64-26.

Northeast's win came from a few key players Braden River will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Armani Hosein, who posted 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Shay Kinney, who made all 5 shots he took to post 11 points.

Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Northeast, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Braden River was able to grind out a solid victory over Northeast in their previous matchup back in January, winning 79-67. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
