Baseball Recap: Tocoi Creek's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tocoi Creek entered their tilt with Coral Gables on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Coral Gables Cavaliers. That's two games straight that the Toros have won by exactly five runs.

Tocoi Creek got a great performance from Brayden Harris as he struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. That's the most strikeouts Harris has posted since back in February of 2024.

On the hitting side, Nate Wade was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Chase Pate was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Tocoi Creek pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Coral Gables, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1.
