Volleyball Recap: Minden Whippets vs. Ogallala Indians
Minden won the last time they faced Ogallala, and things went their way on Friday too. The Minden Whippets came out on top against the Ogallala Indians by a score of 2-0.
Minden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18.
Mattie Kamery paced Minden's offense, picking up nine kills. Kamery got some help from
Myla Emery and her 15 assists. Emery was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Minden's victory bumped their record up to 31-1. As for Ogallala, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 23-10.
