The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Hartford and Bellows Falls, and Hartford kept the tradition alive. The Hurricanes walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Terriers on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Hurricanes: when they faced off against the Terriers back in April, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Hartford's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hugh Wendling, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Solly Flores also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Hartford's record is now 3-6. As for Bellows Falls, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartford will welcome Mt. Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bellows Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
