It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ider had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Woodville Panthers 17-1. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Miklyn Troxtel and Julie Mavity were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Troxtel tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Mavity tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Troxtel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. At the plate, Troxtel went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, while Mavity went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Mavity has posted since back in March.

Ider's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 30-14-2. As for Woodville, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
