Dashawn Woods Delivers Best Performance of Season

Dashawn Woods produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hammond Morton to the win on Friday. Woods' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 111 rushing yards. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.

The victory (which was Hammond Morton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. Woods and Hammond Morton will challenge East Chicago Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Davion Terry Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Hammond Central was led to victory by Davion Terry, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Terry rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The win snapped Hammond Central's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. Terry and Hammond Central will stay at home for another week and welcome Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Harris Posts Huge Game in 61-58 Victory

The second Hammond Morton player making an appearance here is Holland Harris, and for good reason. He threw for 350 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 35 yards.

Harris might have his next game, a road matchup with East Chicago Central, circled on his calendar. When Harris last faced the Cardinals back in October of 2023, he threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes.

Freddy Brown Makes It Three for Hammond Morton
