Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Cam Johnson's big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson made a major impact, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.9) per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

A Season-Best Performance from Alex Waterfield Leads Bishop Mcguinness over Pine Lake Prep
Bishop McGuinness was led to victory by Alex Waterfield, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waterfield threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Pine Lake Prep had to settle for second on Friday, but Johntay Gaither sure wasn't going down easily. Gaither turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
This year, Gaither has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game.

Community School of Davidson Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Oliver Morris
Oliver Morris was instrumental in extending Community School of Davidson's winning streak to four on Friday. Winston-Salem Prep had no answer to Morris as he picked up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Morris is becoming a predictor of Community School of Davidson's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
For the year, Morris has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.
