Volleyball Recap: Marsh Valley Comes Up Short

If Marsh Valley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of American Falls on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Snake River Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-8.

Snake River got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was London Lee out in front who had 11 assists and four digs. Another player making a difference was Emma Cook, who had seven digs and three blocks.

Marsh Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Snake River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Marsh Valley and Snake River will both be playing Preston the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
