Skyline and Chandler are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Coyotes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Skyline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Skyline came up short against Red Mountain on Thursday, falling 12-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

Skyline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Otero, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chandler). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Camelback a 26-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Wolves have won eight matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Durham made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Chandler is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-8-1 otherwise. Durham was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Yale Johnson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Brett Culver was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Chandler always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .775. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win got Chandler back to even at 10-10-1. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
