Volleyball Recap: Megan Donnally Key Part of Team Effort in Trojans Win

There's no place like home for Tree of Life Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Genoa Christian Academy on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with Genoa Christian Academy: they've now won six in a row.

In the three sets Tree of Life Christian was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 22-25, 25-6.

Tree of Life Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Megan Donnally out in front who had eight digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Donnally a new career-high in assists (28). Mimi Cochran was another key player, getting 16 assists and seven digs.

They weren't the only good server: Tree of Life Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Genoa Christian Academy only served four aces.

The victory got Tree of Life Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Genoa Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
