Football Recap: Paintsville Piles Up the Points Against Bath County + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Paintsville challenged Bath County on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 55-6 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

A big part of Paintsville's victory came down to the chemistry between Parker Helton and his top target Anderson Lauffer. Helton threw for 210 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes while Lauffer picked up 168 receiving yards and four TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Paintsville proved: they limited Bath County to a paltry 1.1 yards per carry. The Tigers' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.4.

Paintsville has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Bath County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paintsville will host Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bath County, they will square off against Rowan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
