Volleyball Recap: Riverview Takes a Loss

Riverview lost against Airport back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Jets. Pirates fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Jets since Monday.

Riverview's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Airport, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Riverview is set to square off against their familiar foe Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Airport will face off against rival Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
