Catholic - N.I. waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Iota Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amelie Trappey paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up ten kills. Trappey got some help from Renee Frederick and her 13 assists. Gracie Neck controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Catholic - N.I.'s victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Iota, with the defeat, they broke their 12-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Catholic - N.I. will challenge Houma Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iota, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vinton at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th.
