Basketball Recap: Farmington Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Farmington won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Farmington Knights came out on top against the Central Tigers by a score of 45-38. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Tigers are ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklynn Moss, who posted 11 points. Jamie Dawson-Ide was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win made it two in a row for Farmington and bumps their season record up to 13-10. As for Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-16.

As of now, neither Farmington nor Central have any future games scheduled.
