Jefferson faced Broadwater in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat on Friday.

Emmalin Fischer had a dynamite game For Broadwater., getting 22 digs. Those 22 digs gave Fischer a new career-high. Sophia Lamb also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Broadwater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7-2 record this season.
