Soccer Recap: Andrew Takes a Loss

Andrew started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Lincoln-Way East. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Griffins who were credited with the victory on Saturday. The Lincoln-Way East Griffins got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Andrew Thunderbolts' six. Andrew's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Will MacLeod and Khattab Jaradat scored both of Andrew's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for Lincoln-Way East, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
