She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Gray's Creek got a massive performance out of Amariya Green, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two triples, and one run. That's the most hits Green has posted since back in February. Amber Miller was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Gray's Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinecrest only posted a batting average of .211.
Gray's Creek's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Douglas Byrd, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
