Basketball Game Preview: Beach Bulldogs vs. Windsor Forest Knights

Beach hasn't had much luck against Windsor Forest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Beach Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Windsor Forest Knights at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Beach saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They managed a 55-50 victory over Long County. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Windsor Forest entered their tilt with Johnson on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 70-60 win over the Atomsmashers. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Atomsmashers are ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Windsor Forest's win came from a few key players Beach will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ryheim Manning, who posted 26 points. Another player making a difference was Sean Cabellero, who put up 20 points.

Windsor Forest's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Beach, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Things could have been worse for Beach, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 76-60 loss to Windsor Forest when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Beach avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
