Basketball Recap: Desert Christian Drops Season-High Score on Lancaster Baptist

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Christian). They came out on top against the Lancaster Baptist Eagles by a score of 67-54 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Leading Desert Christian to victory were Josh Nuzum and Kenji Sams. Nuzum posted 16 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds, while Sams shot 64% from the field on his way to 17 points. Nuzum's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Isaac Huitink was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.
