The Willow Canyon Wildcats were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Fairfax Stampede. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.
Matt Huff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Ethan Patrick was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Santiago Reyes also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
