Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Lake Holcombe Chieftains came up short against the Thorp Cardinals and fell 52-40. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Holcombe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Thorp, their win ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-17.

Lake Holcombe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 46-37 victory against Bruce on the 7th. As for Thorp, they will square off against Bloomer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
