Basketball Recap: Somerset Takes a Loss

Somerset saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell to the Pflugerville Connally Cougars 61-55.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pflugerville Connally to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Phagans, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Doe, who posted 15 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Somerset now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pflugerville Connally, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Somerset has already played their next game, a 72-23 victory against Marble Falls on the 13th. As for Pflugerville Connally, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-29 win against Socorro on the 13th.
