Softball Recap: Refugio Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Refugio challenged Aransas Pass on Thursday. The Refugio Bobcats fell 5-2 to the Aransas Pass Panthers. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Refugio now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Aransas Pass, their win bumped their record up to 2-5-1.

Refugio wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 defeat against Taft on the 27th. As for Aransas Pass, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Agua Dulce on the 27th.
