University and Chaparral are an even 3-3-1 against one another since February of 2023, but likely not for long. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Chaparral better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if University's game on Friday is any indication, that's when University really gets things going. Meanwhile, Chaparral hasn't lost a match since January 22nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Everything went their way against Ellison as they made off with a 4-0 win. Given Chaparral's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Ellison are ranked 816th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

University's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-4. As for Chaparral, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-5.
