Volleyball Recap: Severance Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Severance lost against Timnath back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Silver Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cubs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Severance saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dalaynie Loftin had 23 assists and five digs.

Among those leading the charge was Brynleigh Firks, who had nine digs and four assists.

Severance's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Timnath, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Severance has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Mountain View on the 23rd. As for Timnath, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Roosevelt on the 23rd.
