After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Owatonna, Austin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Red Wing Wingers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Packers have posted since April 22, 2024.

Austin's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Red Wing, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wingers beat Austin by a score of 5-2 later that day.
